About

Jack Carnefix II

I attended 10 schools in five states before graduating from C.E. Donart High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

I studied journalism at Oklahoma State and got my start writing for the Daily O’Collegian, which led to a long and winding career in sports media, public relations, and operations.

I’ve worked in sports information, sports technology and in minor league baseball and hockey, indoor football, professional boxing and tennis, and professional bull riding with stops in Oklahoma, Iowa, Idaho, New Jersey and Colorado before returning to Oklahoma.

Since 2015, I’ve served as the operations manager at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater.

I live in Perkins, Oklahoma, with my wife, Rashel, who is the finance manager and city clerk for the City of Perkins, and our two dogs, Bentley and Maggie.

Website

This site is just me finally writing down some of the stories people have told me I should share.

It’s not about name-dropping. It’s a look back at experiences that I have been lucky enough to be a part of and the amazing people who I have been lucky enough to meet along the way.

Most involve sports, but really, they’re about people.

I hope you enjoy reading these stories as much as I did living them and now remembering them.
